The Third 100
The reception of candidates was successfully completed at the end of June. 144 new proposals from 70 different nations have been received. This is the result of the commitment of 24 International organizations and many national representatives working together.
All the sites will be evaluated by a group of 104 experts between September and November. The Third 100 will be announced together with new Heritage Stones and Geocollections at a special IUGS Geoheritage event in Autumn 2026.
