The Third 100 – Evaluation process finished
The evaluation process has been completed in time successfully. 104 experts from 32 nations have participated in this huge endeavor producing 720 evaluation files. All the information provided needs to be carefully analyzed by the IUGS team. According to the scorings provided the final list of “The Third 100” will be proposed and ratified in January. The book of the Third 100 will be produced in 2026 spring – summer and the final announcement will be done in an special IUGS Geoheritage event in November 2026.
